Peel Personnel was established in 1990 to assist people with disabilities find and maintain award wage employment.

In 1995 Peelcon, the trading arm of Peel Personnel was established in response to the high unemployment within the Peel region, which was higher than the national average.

Peelcon is fully self supporting from the income of the tenders it has been successful in obtaining and employs mainly people with disabilities to work on these tenders at award wages.

From 2004, under the umbrella of Peel Personnel Incorporated, the following structure has emerged:

Peel Personnel which is assisting people with disabilities to find employment in the open workforce

Peelcon, the trading arm of Peel Personnel, is maintaining & seeking new tenders

·

Auslan Classes - providing sign language classes to anyone in the community, both hearing and hearing impaired people.
